On February 5 and 6, 2010, Dr. David Cooperrider of the Weatherhead School of Management will facilitate MOCAmentum—a summit using the techniques of Appreciative Inquiry. Cooperrider and his colleagues have pioneered these techniques in Cleveland and have used them successfully in the recent citywide summit: Green City on a Blue Lake. A diverse group of over 100 stakeholders from the cultural, philanthropic, business, and civic realms have been invited to attend the event, which is the culmination of MOCA’s steadfast goal to relocate to University Circle and fulfill its mission to be the leading voice in our region for the art and ideas of our times. The new MOCA, housed in an architecturally iconic building designed by Foreign Office Architects, will visually and programmatically communicate that Greater Cleveland is a place that embraces creativity, innovation, and cultural and artistic diversity.
